msi Spergel inc. was appointed as receiver (in such capacity, the "Receiver") over Falcon Xpress Transportation Group Inc., Falcon Investment Group Inc., 6086 Mayfield Inc., and 2593548 Ontario Inc. (the “Companies”) pursuant to the Order of the Honourable Justice Derstine of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (the "Court") made on April 25, 2025 effective May 16, 2025.

Aird & Berlis is counsel for RBC, Kramer Simaan is counsel for Falcon Xpress Transportation Group Inc. et al and Gowling WLG is counsel for the Receiver.

On June 4, 2024, the Companies moved to the Court for an Order authorizing the Companies to enter into a refinancing transaction to payout RBC and CRA certain amounts. On June 9, 2024 the Court issued the Order granting the relief sought by the Companies. The Companies have met the conditions outlined in the Refinancing Order and the Receiver has issued its Discharge Certificate. Effectively, the Receiver has been discharged and the Companies remain in control of their respective businesses.
